Lapland UK Photography : Christmas Chimps!

Lapland UK PhotographyI have been SO excited to blog our trip to Lapland UK with our gorgeous friends, collectively known as the Chimps!  We booked to go as soon as tickets went on sale as we wanted to do something amazing with our little ones for a Christmas treat.

I say treat as this is not an inexpensive day out for a family of four.  I can whole heartedly say it was worth every single penny and more.  The attention to detail was something else.  Before the big day we received a personalised invite from Father Christmas and there was also a letter for Mummy and Daddy to leave out on Christmas morning.

From the second you step into Lapland UK until the second you step out you truly believe you are in Lapland with snowy enchanted forests, huskies, reindeer, an elf sweet shop and a post office to send your letter to Father Christmas.  We met an elf as we arrived (as you do!) who asked my little boy’s name.  We saw him about an hour and a half later and he said “hello Charlie”. He’d remembered and Charlie was so delighted by this.  Little touches like this amazed me.  Everyone remained in character perfectly throughout our visit and the children truly believed the entire experience.

We made toys in the elves workshop and made gingerbread in Mother Christmas’s kitchen, we ate Christmas dinner pie and went ice skating.   Then is was time to meet the big guy himself. It was the perfect end to the perfect morning.  He knew snippets of information about the children which amazed them and made them feel so special.  They were given a gorgeous toy husky which they all loved.

I can honestly say it was a magical experience and I am so glad we got to share it with our lovely chimp friends.  My little boy declared it “the best day ever!”  Lapland UK, we will be back next year!
