Colleen and Steven were married at the fabulous St Nicholas Church (which boasts the best garden in the city!) and arrived at their reception at Siren Liverpool in style in the horse and carriage that Colleen’s mum had arranged as a surprise for them.
Siren is a hidden gem in the heart of the Baltic Triangle with the most amazing natural light, a roof terrace with beautiful views of the city and an urban garden perfect for outdoor wedding games. Colleen had put her heart and soul into all the decorations and styling and all of her hard work paid off as it looked absolutely stunning.
The second you walk out of the Siren door you’re met with the best hit of colour, texture and raw urban goodness. Absolute perfection for wedding portraits with a bit of edge! Colleen and Steven fully embraced their surroundings and we had the best laugh taking their photographs. There aren’t many people who can say that they’ve practiced their first dance in a skate park!
These two are full of fun and their photobooth was one of my all time favourites. The masks of Steven’s faces used at Colleen’s hen do made an appearance and were enjoyed by all, except Steven! Colleen’s beloved Grandad especially loved the Photo Booth props, he was unstoppable!
Amidst all the fun it was a real delight to see Colleen and Steven just so happy to be married. They adore one another and that was so clear to see. Steven rocked his speech by declaring that there were no words that could show how much he loved Colleen and so promptly stood up and sang “Your Song” (Ewan McGregor version!) to her, what a legend!
It was the first time that I’d photographed a first dance outside. It was brilliant and the confetti canons are the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for choosing me to document your day. Wishing you all the love and happiness in your married life together!
