Naomi + Lee were married last month at the glorious Willington Hall, an absolute gem of a venue set in the picturesque Cheshire countryside. They told me that they had picked Willington Hall as they really wanted to have an ongoing connection with the place they got married and Willington was the perfect place for them. It was while they were having dinner there that they met one of my past couples, Vikki + John, who were having their one year anniversary meal. They recommended me and the rest is history.
Naomi and Lee met salsa dancing and so I knew that their wedding was going to be high energy from the outset. They said “oh there’ll be a lot of dancing, but don’t worry if you need to leave” There was no way I was going to miss this and was one of my favourite parts of their incredible day! Naomi did a quick change for their first dance showing off her stunning wedding shoes that had been bought during their trip to Croatia where Lee had proposed. They set the dance floor alight and I love that in the corner of their first dance you can see one of Naomi’s bridesmaid crying her eyes out in awe of her friends! Lee’s parents just kept saying “we’ve never seen them dance like this, it’s AMAZING!” And it really, really was!
How much these two are adored was clear. A really touching part of the day was Naomi’s dad coming to see her in the morning with a speech that he had written but was too nervous to give. We all had a little cry especially when he whispered “you’ll always be my baba” Sob! The best men speeches had everyone howling and crying in equal measure. I had asked Lee during our pre wedding meeting if he thought he might cry. He didn’t think he would but he was wrong! The bond between these guys was absolutely wonderful and the thought that had gone into their production was incredible! One of the best men, Tony, had even designed the wedding stationary and overseen each invite and piece of stationary being hand printed so it had an authentic 20’s feel.
I think it’s very apparent how in love Naomi and Lee are. They finish each others sentences and they often don’t need to speak as a look lets the other now what they are thinking. During Naomi’s speech she said “Lee does so much for me to show he loves me. He plans his days off to fit in with mine and every morning and every evening he puts the toothpaste on my toothbrush so I don’t have to!” They are just adorable and I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Congratulations!
“Rachel is an absolute star! We highly recommend her, our photos are gorgeous and what a lovely person to have at your wedding! xxx”
