Calderstones Park Children Photography : Matthew + Daniel

Calderstones Park Children Photography

When Karen booked me to take photographs of her boys at Calderstones Park in South Liverpool I was over the moon.  Karen is not only my children’s amazing childminder (there is NOTHING she can’t craft with a paper plate!) but she is also my lovely friend.  It it fair to say she doesn’t particularly like having her photo taken but she was determined to get in a few to have some beautiful memories for her boys. I am very proud of her for it and the pictures of her and her boys melt my heart. You can just see how much she adores them and how much they adore her back.

I always shoot in any weather provided my families are up for it and, my goodness, I’m so glad we went ahead with this one even though the day started with thick fog. The fog combined with the beautiful autumn leaves made for photographic heaven!

Matthew and Daniel were an absolute delight to photograph.  They are such little characters and fully embraced a fantastic morning of play. They threw and kicked leaves at each other (as well as me and their Mummy!), jumped, kicked bugs out of trees, showed me just how double jointed they were, climbed and smothered their gorgeous Mummy with kisses and the occasional lick!

Children shoots work SO well when the focus is on having fun and not worrying about getting dirty and letting them pull funny faces and just be, well children! Good on Mummy and Daddy for letting us too!

I absolutely love this set, it perfectly reflects these little boys wonderful little characters!

How on earth is one supposed to pick one when they are all so good. How lovely to see the boys enjoying themselves so much. An amazing shoot. I feel very blessed to have them in my life.ReplyCancel
