Last month, after 20 years together and 3 beautiful children later, Clare + Stephen were married at Church Farm, Wirral. It truly was an amazing place to get married with unrivalled views of Wales, a farm tour and the most spectacular sunsets. This wedding was a really family orientated day and was so relaxed. Clare has pretty much styled the entire day and the details that she put together were just beautiful. I don’t usually blog huge amount of detail shots but the hard work and sheer talent of Clare needed to be showcased. Not only did she make her own bouquet, she also made her little girls flowers crown, made all of the button holes and table flowers, designed their wedding logo, created wedding activity kits for all of the children, made a photo story board, styled all of the details in the tipi, made the stunning wedding cake toppers and even made her own confetti!
Clare + Stephen’s 3 children were an integral part of the day and they are a complete credit to their Mum and Dad. They were so funny, warm and engaging and threw themselves into the spirit of the day. Some of my favourite moments of the day include these gorgeous littles ones from Will helping Clare do up her wedding dress to Eva reading the most gorgeous poem she had written during the service that made everyone tear up. I asked them if they thought their Mum and Dad were having a lovely day and they told me “yes, but they’ll kiss too much!”
What was so clear to me is how much these two love each other and how at ease with each other they are. Whenever they were with each other they were just effortlessly laughing, smiling and just genuinely loving each others company. It was the biggest pleasure capturing such a fantastic day. Thank you so much for having me.
