Katherine and Ian were married a few months ago in the most stunning grounds of Delamere Manor for the most beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. From the pictures it looks like we could have been abroad instead of leafy Cheshire, the former home of Gary Barlow to be specific! Being a devoted Take That fan back in the day I couldn’t contain my excitement when Katherine told me that they’d chosen Delamere Manor to get married and they wanted me to photograph their day. Luckily I have known Katherine for years and we have a shared enthusiasm of Mr Barlow. So much so that they booked the most impressive Gary Barlow tribute act, Dan Hadfield, for their wedding party, that was downstairs in Mr B’s old recording studio, as a surprise for all other guests. Being able to capture their reactions was absolutely brilliant!
This was the first time that I had photographed a wedding at Delamere Manor and it’s become a firm favourite of mine. It really does feel like it’s your own luxurious home for the day rather than a wedding venue and that instantly makes you feel so relaxed. The grounds are absolutely stunning as well as being a wedding photographers dream! There are so many little hidden gems and Katherine and Ian were completely up for finding them, even when it including hitching up the wedding dress to get to the good light as well as going on a magical mystery tour on a golf buggy! What also made Delamere so special was how fantastic Joy and Dale, Delamere Manor’s incredible wedding co-ordinators were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really added to the atmosphere of the http://worklife.wharton.upenn.edu/buy-retin-a-retino-a/ day.
Katherine and Ian are made for each other. They are like a double act of pure fun and they did not stop laughing with each other all day. They are such a fun and relaxed couple that they want their wedding photography to reflect that. Being able to document peoples relationships just as they are is what really matters to me and what I love about Katherine and Ian’s picture is that you can just tell they find fun wherever they go and their friends and family are exactly the same. Their wedding was the first bouquet toss that I have done in years and it was hysterical! Fun just follows this lovely lot and it was such a pleasure to photograph it all for them.
Thank you so much for having me Mr and Mrs H, it truly was the Greatest Day of your Life!
Katherine + Ian had absolutely amazing suppliers and it was a pleasure to work with them all
