A month ago I photographed Debbie and Chris’s beautiful Hulme Hall winter wedding. Their ceremony took place at Cornerstone Church with two of Debbie’s brothers leading the ceremony. It’s only one of your big brother who can get away with singing “at last” at top volume as you get to the top of the aisle!
Debbie and Chris just wanted to be married, their focus was celebrating their commitment to each other in their church in front of their friends and family. When Debbie’s lovely Dad pulled her veil out the boot of the car as she arrived at church with a rucksack and a roll of cellotape on it she couldn’t have cared less, she just couldn’t wait to get to Chris! I think their service was one of the most personal and joyous I have heard. You could just feel how much love and pride there was in the room for them and it was incredibly uplifting.
After the service we headed over to Port Sunlight for some portraits and managed to catch the last of the autumn leaves before heading back to their reception at Hulme Hall.
Wishing you the happiest future together, it was a privilege to document that start of this new chapter!
