Working with the Tate Liverpool has been a real highlight of my commercial photography.  The Tate had a really clear vision of what they wanted to achieve through photography.  Namely showing the gallery being used and enjoyed by the hundreds of visitors who flock to the Albert Dock to see the latest exhibits.

The entire gallery is just a real experience from the exhibits to the beautiful gift shop to the vibrant cafe which has an amazing selection of cakes not to mention the best toast in Liverpool!  The views of the Albert Dock and world famous Liver Building are truly spectacular. Tate Liverpool is also hugely family friendly from the changing facilities to the lockers provided to the specially designed CLORE, which is an interactive space for little ones to explore, to providing space rocket back packs with a whole host of sensory delights inside!  What really makes the Tate though are the incredible staff.  Everyone I met was so passionate and enthusiastic and couldn’t have wanted to help the numerous visitors in anyway that they good. A true Liverpool welcome!

The photographs commissioned were for use on that Tate’s website, social media platforms as well and in printed publications such as Family Go Live.  Really excitingly, they decided to use some of my images on their huge welcome board in their foyer and for even bigger flags all along one of the busiest roads in Liverpool. With this is mind, I ensured that I took a wide range of images that would be ideal for each of the mediums and and you’ll see below how successful that has been!
