A few weeks ago I met up with with the most fantastic bunch of of wedding industry friends for a styled shoot at the iconic Liver Building. The Venue at the Royal Liver Building is an amazing wedding venue that really is a blank canvas for couples. It is a huge space in a world famous building with a spectacular balcony overlooking the Mersey. What’s not to love?! The team at the Venue are amazing and work tirelessly to make sure their couples big day is nothing short of perfection. If you are planning to get married anytime between now and the end of May 2016 and haven’t found your venue this is your chance. You can get married and have your reception in this amazing building half price, incredible.
When I decided to arrange this shoot I was absolutely clear that I wanted to ask other brilliant and local suppliers who I had worked with before and who I would recommend to my couples in a heartbeat. I not only wanted people who are exceptional at their jobs but also wonderful people to be around and who offer outstanding customer service.
Charlotte of Charlotte Medford Hair Design not only was our hair stylist but also modelled with her gorgeous husband, Phil. Charlotte is just amazing. Every picture she posts of her clients hair gives me serious hair envy and these pictures just tell you that she is just the best person to be around (as well as the fact that her and Phil are madly in love!)
Elle from Made Up by Elle was our amazing make artist. Elle is so professional and her attention to detail is fantastic. Not only did Charlotte look utterly stunning but so did Elle. So much so we popped a dress on her without any notice and she modelled too! We even roped in her unsuspecting boyfriend David, what a good sport!
Charlotte and Elle both wore beautiful dresses and hair pieces from Liverpool Bridal Boutique, who open on Rose Lane on the 3rd February. I am so excited for their launch as their dresses are exquisite and they have such a stunning range I don’t know how brides would narrow down their choices! Lin and Stephanie were on hand at the shoot to help with quick changes and they are two of the nicest ladies you will meet.
Phil’s suit is from Larry Adams menswear which is owned by one of my past brides, Amanda. Amanda is just gorgeous and supplies seriously high quality and high quality menswear.
Last, and by no means least, the beautiful bouquet and button hole were designed especially for us by the amazing Karen McGrath. I gave Karen the very briefest idea of what I had in mind as I trust her implicitly and ,as always, she exceeded my expectations.
Enough chat, on with the pictures!
