Corinne + Jamie were married a few weeks ago at St Pauls in West Derby followed by their reception at The Venue at the Liver Building in Liverpool City Centre. Their service was officiated by a long standing friend to Corinne’s family, Deacon Joe. I can honestly sat that I have never shared so much laughter with so many people during a wedding service! We were all in stitches and it made for a truly wonderful service packed with so many brilliant memories. This could only be followed by a reception at the iconic Liver Building with the most spectacular views that are hard to rival. Special thanks to Kate and the team who looked after us all so well and who always go over and above making it a delight to work alongside.
I was absolutely over the moon when Jamie got in touch, having been a guest at the wedding of Olivia + James last year, to book me to document their wedding. At the time Jamie was working in Hong Kong and Corinne had been back in the UK for a year so the wedding marked the end of the long distance chapter of their 10 years together. There can be no mistake how much these two love each other. You can just see their entire faces light up when they are near each other and they couldn’t have hid their massive smiles even if they wanted to.
What really stood out was just how much these two are loved by their families and friends. It was so overwhelming you could just feel it and it was the hugest privilege to witness. From Corinne’s nieces looks of total adoration to Jamie’s sister’s tears (a rarity in public i’m reliably told!) to the howling laughter of Corinne’s oldest friends (#teamusher) to Corinne’s dad’s speech bursting at the seams with complete pride. The photographs of Corinne walking downstairs for the first glimpse of her as a bride are some of my all time favourites. It was truly one of the most magical moments that I have photographed. It is a feeling that I won’t ever forget about this wedding.
It is therefore no surprise to me that so many people travelled across the globe to celebrate on such a special day with them. It truly is a testament to what gorgeous, kind hearted and all round lovely people Corinne and Jamie are. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your completely fabulous wedding and big thanks to my trusty wing woman, Emma, for second shooting for me. On with the photographs!
