I first met Claire + Iain two years ago when Claire was a bridesmaid at Jane + Darrells’s wedding. I had taken a picture of them and they told me that if they decided to get married they would want me to photograph it. I was over the moon when Iain proposed and they asked me to capture their amazing day in Heysham, where Claire grew up. Their service took place at St Peter’s church in Heysham, where Claire arrived to so many well wishers, followed by a marquee reception at Claire’s family home. Claire’s sister had been making a whole lot bunting for months and it looked incredible!
Claire and Iain are just the most gorgeous couple. They bring out the absolute best in each other and are each others champions. Throughout the day they repeatedly kept telling the other how lucky they were to have them. Iain wore around his wrist the red band that Claire gave to him when they first got together but didn’t want to make it official to their work colleagues. It’s the importance of these little things that say so much about these two. Throughout the day they kept thanking everyone from their suppliers to all of their friends and family. They appreciate everyone and each other and it was so clear how loved and valued they are back (especially by their beloved dog, Romeo, who looked very dapper!)
The day was full of non stop laughter and not even a bit of rain could dampen their spirits. Thank you so much to you and your families for making me so welcome, I absolutely adored your fantastic day.
“We met Rachel when she was photographing a friends wedding, and we loved her instantly. She is so warm, and makes everyone feel at ease instantly. We were delighted when she was available to photograph our wedding. From the moment we booked Rachel, she was an absolute delight. When we met her at the venue (which is my Dads house), she was seeing things and possible photo opportunities that I haven’t seen in all the years I had lived there. Rachel asked all sorts of questions and ensured she knew who everyone was so she could be sure to keep an eye on them on the day and capture any key moments.
When the day came, Rachel was immediately part of the bridal party and was making sure everyone was OK, and helping where she could, all while capturing the most amazing photographs, I have no idea how she got round as many places as she did!
Rachel managed to capture some some moments that I didn’t believe could be photographed. Those moments that words cant describe…. and are normally impossible to photograph. In her photos, Rachel captures the emotions of the day and has made them into the most beautiful photos, which can be treasured for a life time.
Words cant express how happy we are with the photos, and what they mean to us. We cannot recommend Rachel highly enough.
Thank you Rachel. You are wonderful!”SUPPLIERS
